    Great film with improved quality.

The order came quick and the quality is excellent. First saw this on VHS in the early 80s. Love it.

    Live at Pompeii 4K

Absolute bliss. After first having seen the movie as a teenager on VHS in the early 80s…. What a treat!

Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii MCMLXXII 4K

I love this video. I had purchased this video on Amazon but this was a digital file, not very good quality for video.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray was out of this world, I loved the video as it was a great 4K disc. Thanks for the Pink Floyd.

    Regards

Astonishingly good 55 years ago without any fancy light show. Some playback issues.

This is only 4 versus 5 stars due to a problem with playback of the FILM in Dolby Atmos mode.

Musically I'd easily rate it 5+

So... Wow was that a dusty venue! Seeing Gilmour in the dirt making interesting noises with a slide on his Stratocaster was quite the sight.

The songs - which I knew well from being a fan from all the way back to the Sid Barrett days - were wonderful. Speaking of him... Did I see him just standing there looking very out-of-it in a shot or two?

Seeing this performance from so long ago was a reminder of just how interesting they were even then.

    I really liked this but:

    (1) I was confused about the FILM vs the CONCERT (which I chose for the first try - leaving it 2 channel PCM - spread out by my 7.2 system using DTS Neural X). A little bit of explanation in the liner notes would have helped.

    (2) Playing the FILM with Dolby Atmos, the playback froze about 1/***** into it. This required a power cycle of my equipment to get it unfrozen. This may have been a problem with dust in my Blu-ray player.

The sound on the CONCERT with the default 2 channel version (but spread around to all my speakers) was quite spectacular and very pleasing. I didn't even realize I had left it as 2 channel for this first try.

The Dolby Atmos playback of the FILM sounded even better - until it froze.

I'll be trying the FILM again today. if it still freezes I'll assume there is some kind of flaw in the disk.

I'll also try the Surround mix on the CONCERT.
