Originally released in 1987, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was remixed and updated for The Later Years, revisiting the album from the original master tapes with David Gilmour and Andy Jackson.

This single-disc CD edition features the 2019 remix of the album in digipak packaging with a 28-page booklet. The front cover features an alternate photograph from the original album cover photo shoot.

    A Momentary Lapse of Reason - A Metaphysical Epiphany

    It is hard for me to put into words, the effects I perceive your music to have on my synaptic connection to my own existence and to the universe we all share. For individuals, such as yourselves, to manipulate musical instruments in such a way that the sounds & rhythms created can transport another human being to such a metaphysical plane, is truly amazing. George Benson, Steely Dan, and some other artists make music that *feels* amazing, but yours is on a whole other level. Thank you.

    Bought a Darkside of the Moon door mat. Great doormat, very festive! Really stiff bristles do the trick! Bought the remaster of A Momentary Reason and it is fantastic! Lot's of subtleties brought to the forefront. Destined to be another Floyd classic!

    This is Fantastic, especially being post Roger Waters. Gilmour and the boys created a AWESOME CD. If you don't have a copy then get up of your butt and Get it. Won't be Disappointed!!!
