    The New Mix is Great

I have had the original SACD mix in 5.1 surround sound for 25 years. I purchased this new SACD entirely for the new 7.1 ATMOS mix. I have to say it is an excellent upgrade. The sound quality has always been excellent but adding the new channels gives it an added dimension. This album was created to be played back in surround sound. After 50 years of listening to it, it's still one of my favorite albums!

    Renewed Love

The Atmos mix made this very familiar album sound new again. Great listening experience.

The new Blu-Ray Atmos versions are better than the 5.1 SACD

Formally I really enjoyed the SACD versions in 5.1, but sometimes it was too bright sounding, aspecially when playing loud. This Atmos versions are done much better. Also when playing really loud the sound is stable and pleasantly to listen to.

In Atmos the skip the pressent of the center, which had a bigger role in the 5.1 SACD, as was clearly the case with the beginning of Money, but the soundstage is better overall. With the song Time, you're inside a clock yourself, surrounded with more of them around you..

With the others, it's the same.

I really like Animals, but the SACD was much too bright to listen specially when you want to put the level of volume higher, which was not recommanded, but now at all volumes I can listen to it as I please.

And the album Wish you were here is amazingly be-au-ti-full. I grew up with this album and wel worth the upgrade.

I cannot wait till the do this with Maddle.

But,... the covers are cheaply done, and much less of quallity than the SACD book versions.

A real pitty, because it would have been the perfect finishing though at a roundup..

It's like the first time I listened to Dark Side

I must have at least 3 copies of this album on CD and LP. This Dolby Atmos mix is really awesome. This album is perfect for the Spatialized effects of the modern Dolby Atmos mix. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pink Floyd in Dolby Atmos! It had to happen!! 🥰

This blu ray audio disc is an awesome treat for high fidelity audiophiles! Dark Side of the Moon in lossless Dolby Atmos surround sound is a blast!! Have the multichannel SACD of this and this blows that away.

What took so long for Dolby Atmos audio reach the Pink Floyd catalog? Where is Wish You Were Here or The Wall?

Dolby Atmos really makes this album shine!!
