Originally released in 1987, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was updated and remixed for The Later Years, revisiting the album from the original master tapes with David Gilmour and Andy Jackson.
This Deluxe CD + DVD edition features the remixed and updated album on CD, plus DVD bonus material and 5.1 surround sound audio. The set also includes a 40-page booklet and an envelope containing six exclusive stickers designed by Peter Curzon from StormStudios.

This album has never sounded so good!!!! I am so glad they remixed and remastered this classic CD. This is one of my all-time favorite Pink Floyd albums. But what we really need now is a proper Blu-ray release at Live at Pompeii with the original version of the movie on it as well as the directors cut and a companion CD with all the songs in proper order. Not like how it is in the 1972 Early Years box set. Please please make this happen! And I hope you do some special deluxe sets for other albums anniversaries pre-Dark Side of the Moon, album such as More, Atom Heart Mother and Meddle just to name a few. But anyways back to A Momentary Lapse of Reason if you do not have this particular version YOU MUST PICK IT UP!!!!

I can hear a lot of differences in this recording. Well done. I loved how the redid the "animals" album better but this is just as great with the new pink Floyd. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Now my next goal is to listen to it in between my 4 speakers. I can't wait!!
