I have had DSOTM CD for several years and two vinyl records of it for many more years. I was told to buy the 50th anniversary CD. I'm very happy with my purchase. The highs and midrange are more defined in this CD. I felt that enhanced my experience with the album. I have stereo speakers that are over 40 years old. Need woofers reconed and tweeters replaced. So now I'm running the CD out of two boomboxes; one for bass and midrange, one of treble. I can't crank them as loud as the speakers on the stereo. Great album and worth my CD purchase.

What a great treat. This is the single greatest album released in my lifetime. I have introduced my son to Pink Floyd to carry on their legacy.

Plain and simple… I missed the boxed set of DSOTM 50th. I have purchased the Blu-ray, 74 Concert CD and the Remastered CD. All in all, a bit cleaner and clearer. It is not a totally different experience. It is like going from a Blu-ray visual to 4k. It’s the same audio experience with a touch more clarity. For those that seek the original artist’s intent, look for an earlier CD (opinions differ on which) mix. Those CDs and Vinyl LPs are still out there. Classic music, all around!
