Details
Originally released in 1987, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason was updated and remixed by David Gilmour and Andy Jackson for The Later Years Box Set. By returning to some of Richard Wrights original keyboard parts and by re-recording new drum tracks with Nick Mason, producers David Gilmour and Bob Ezrin have restored the creative balance between the three Pink Floyd members. The front cover features an alternative photograph from the original album cover photoshoot.
This Deluxe CD/DVD Box was remixed in 2019 from the original master tapes and includes bonus material and 5.1 Surround Sound Audio, along with a 40-page booklet and envelope containing 6 exclusive stickers designed by Peter Curzon from StormStudios.

Christian FlemingJuly 15, 2023This album has never sounded so good!!!! I am so glad they remixed and remastered this classic CD. This is one of my all-time favorite Pink Floyd albums. But what we really need now is a proper Blu-ray release at Live at Pompeii with the original version of the movie on it as well as the directors cut and a companion CD with all the songs in proper order. Not like how it is in the 1972 Early Years box set. Please please make this happen! And I hope you do some special deluxe sets for other albums anniversaries pre-Dark Side of the Moon, album such as More, Atom Heart Mother and Meddle just to name a few. But anyways back to A Momentary Lapse of Reason if you do not have this particular version YOU MUST PICK IT UP!!!!

KennyJuly 3, 2023I can hear a lot of differences in this recording. Well done. I loved how the redid the "animals" album better but this is just as great with the new pink Floyd. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Now my next goal is to listen to it in between my 4 speakers. I can't wait!!
