This Pink Floyd First in Space license plate is only available through Bluescentric! The rocket features a stencil of the pink floyd pig. On November 26th, 1988 Pink Floyd became the first music in space, when Soviet cosmonauts took 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' aboard the Soyuz TM-7 to the MIR Space Station. The tape (without case, to reduce weight) was left aboard MIR for future explorers. David Gilmour and Nick Mason were present in Bajkonur to see the launch, and recorded the sounds of the rocket for possible use in their music. The decorative Pink Floyd license plate measures exactly 5.875" x 11.875" (301.6x149.2mm). Plates are .30 inch thick durable non-rust aluminum and Made in America. They come premade with 1 inch (25.4mm) screw slots to attach to a car. These are printed using a full-color commercial process that produces a quality plate that will last years in any setting.
