I have been using dotm to judge and tune my stereos since it was a new album. This disc is the best. Hearing it has caused me to expand my system to accommodate the atmos mix and has sent me down an expensive rabbit hole of acquiring 5.1 and atmos mixes of various recordings. You need to hear this thing!

If you’re looking for the best mix and are a Pink fan you’ve got to invest in this 50th Anniversary Edition. I’ve never heard so much detail not even though headphones. The music takes on new life…….

Not just an audiophile by passion, but a decade+ audio engineer at a reputable studio, the absolutely brilliance of this mix is not lost on me. I set aside an evening with no distractions and no expectations, popped it in, took a hit, sat in the center of my living room, and hit play. I can only speak for a 5.1.2 Atmos set up, I’m sure the 7.1.2 is even more insane, but WHOA. I half expected the mix to just be different tracks placed in different places around the room, but how insanely dynamic it was blew my mind. The amount of painstaking deliberateness that was put into making this mix an experience was mindblowing. I found myself laughing a few times because of how much of the space was being utilized. I’ve listened to this album a thousand times, and this one was the very first time all over again. If you have a system that you can take advantage of the uncompressed audio and even more so the Atmos environment, do not hesitate. It is a full blown experience. The Wall next?

One of my favorites of all time and The quality is astounding,crystal clear! it appears all efforts were made and accomplished to make this version the best to date! Bravo!
